WEATHER: A cooler start to the workweek

A cold front will bring isolated rain to southern Minnesota this evening and cooler temperatures to the region for Monday.

MINNESOTA, USA — We'll find ourselves behind a cold front this evening giving us a northwest breeze and cooling temperatures. Isolated rain will be rolling south across the I-90 Corridor, leaving us with mostly clear skies overnight.

We'll say goodbye to the 80s and get back to enjoying more seasonal temperatures in the 60s and 70s. There will be some lingering upper-level clouds to start off our Monday, but look for more blue skies heading into the afternoon.

There will be a couple of dry days in the Twin Cities before our next round of scattered rain arrives Wednesday afternoon and evening. There could be some lingering showers Thursday morning especially east of the metro into western Wisconsin. We do have some more scattered showers expected later in the week as well, primarily on Friday and again on Sunday evening.
