This romantic and humorous play inspired by the true story of famed writer Juana Inés de la Cruz, a woman of great resilience who was determined to break the conventions of seventeenth century Mexico. Directed by Marcela Lorca Featuring Pedro Bayón, Sun Mee Chomet, Ryan Colbert, George Keller, Jason Rojas, Thallis Santesteban and Ava Saunders THIS IS A FREE PERFORMANCE, BUT SEATS ARE LIMITED AND RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED. Directions from the Twin Cities: Take 94 East to Mounds Blvd in St. Paul. Turn left onto Mounds Blvd, and then take a right at the first stoplight, 7th Street. Follow 7th Street for half a mile. Indigenous Roots will be on your right just past Hope St. N. Street parking on Rice and side streets. Enter through the main gallery doors. Performance will be in the back garage. There will be signs (and people) directing you. This show is ADA accessible.
