We partner with local charities to serve the needs of the fatherless; children, teens and women in need right here in our neighborhood. Listed below are the three charities that we are supporting through this event: Feed My Starving Children (www.fmsc.org) Feed My Starving Children tackles world hunger by sending volunteer-packed, nutritious meals to 70 countries, where they’re used to operate orphanages, schools, clinics and feeding programs to break the cycle of poverty. The Minnesota-based charity spends more than 90% of total annual donations directly on feeding kids. Liz Logelin Foundation (thelizlogelinfoundation.org) The Liz Logelin Foundation was established to assist widows and widowers with young families who find themselves in the heartbreaking, catastrophic situation of having lost a spouse, life-partner, and parent.  The Foundation’s goal is to financially assist these families as they deal with the loss of their loved ones, and struggle to move forward.  Open Hands Ministry/Hope House (www.180degrees.org/hope-house.html) Hope House is a six-bed emergency shelter for youth 14-19 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in the Southwest Twin Citiesmetro area. Hope House turns young people's lives around by nurturing self sufficiency and independence, with a goal of family reconciliation and reunification. All proceeds go to the three charities.
