Race, Religion, and Response: An Evening with Jim Wallis
Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church is honored to host an evening of dialogue focused on responding to racism from an interfaith perspective. Rev. Jim Wallis, founder of Sojourners (sojo.net) and author of America's Original Sin: Racism, White Privilege, and the Bridge to a New America, will deliver a keynote address and moderate a panel of local anti-racism experts to help our community respond to the devastating impact racism has on our neighborhood and our nation. Come for an inspiring evening and hear the call to do the hard work of dismantling racism. Your ticket comes with a copy of America's Original Sin (pick up your copy at the box office). Seating is general admission, so arrive early for best selection. This evening also features:- Local anti-racism organizations to engage with and get you activated. - A pop-up bookstore featuring anti-racism books and works by Rev.
