Understand Back Pain & Optimize Performance  What is Foundation Training and how can it help you? Foundation Training was created by Dr. Eric Goodman and is a series of corrective exercises designed to alleviate acute and chronic back pain, improve posture and enhance athletic ability.  These exercises help correct dysfunctional movement patterns and muscular imbalances. The majority of back pain we have is a direct result of poor movement patterns that we do unconsciously.  Foundation Training provides relief from back pain and gives you the freedom to do more physical activities Desk jobs, too much time on computers, texting and sitting/standing in undesirable positions all lead to an accelerated breakdown of the spine as muscles atrophy and bones begin to rest on bones. This is a 3-hour workshop discussing the following: 1.) Dr. Goodman’s methodology behind Foundation Training 2.) Break down the leading causes of back pain 3.) Discuss the concepts of decompression breathing and anchoring 4.) Learn 5 essential Foundation Training exercises  5.) How Foundation Training is your link to managing pain and optimizing performance! What do you need to bring? Please bring your yoga mat and water What should you wear? Workout attire
