2019 Spring Corporate Bike Forum

Wednesday, May 22, 2019, 10:00 PM

Join us for the Spring Corporate Bike Forum! The theme for the first two presentations on the agenda is data, data, data! We will be joined by Frank Douma from the Humphry School of Public Affairs who will discuss "The Future of the Commute (and more!)." The landscape around getting to work is changing and Frank's presentation will get us up to speed on the latest shared mobility trends. We will also be joined by Will Wlizlo of BikeMN who will be sharing hot-off-the-press results of BikeMN's Great Minnesota Walking and Biking Survey. This will be the first time the results of this survey have been shared outside of BikeMN. We hope that the walking, biking, and shared mobility trends we discuss at this forum will provide rich information for you to take back to your colleagues and leadership team to use as the organization plans for a future that makes it easier for employees to walk, bike, and commute via their mobility tool of choice! And finally, we're dedicating the last hour of the Corporate Bike Forum to Speed Networking. We've heard for years that participants in the Forum don't get enough time to learn from each other and share best practices - this should give these important conversations the time they deserve!  Agenda: 3:00 p.m. - Welcome from BikeMN 3:10 p.m. - "The Future of the Commute (and more!)" with Frank Douma, Humphry School 3:40 p.m. - Takeaways and Trends from the Great Minnesota Walking & Biking Survey with Will Wlizlo, BikeMN 4:10 p.m. - Speed Networking Begins A webinar option of the presentations will be available for those who can’t attend in person.
