Know Your Seafood (Parts 1 & 2)
This is a two-part class that takes place on Thursday, September 6th from 6pm - 8pm and on Thursday, September 13th from 6pm - 8pm. Courses are NOT sold separately and price per ticket covers attendance for both nights. Start at square one with this two-part series where you’ll learn the in's and out's of all things seafood. Part one of this class is a lecture-based tutorial that touches on the fundamentals of different fish species, seafood preparation, and basic cooking techniques.Part two of this series continues with more advanced preparation techniques and great recipes for almost every type of seafood. Moving on from the in-depth overview and seafood survey from part one, this class applies the knowledge acquired in part one to develop a confident seafood cook in the kitchen. This two-part class must be taken together.
